The Adwise collaborations with ICON Medicine Research and Heracles Almelo have been awarded a total of three nominations at the Global Content Awards 2023. In addition, two of our own employer brand campaigns have been nominated, one of which is assured of the overall win. This is according to the shortlist published today. Winners will be announced on November 9 this year.
Adwise & ICON drug research
Finding participants for drug research is crucial to the development of life-saving medications. This case study nominated for Best Global Health campaign and Best Social Media Strategy is all about breaking taboos in drug research. Starring participants in diabetes medication research, this campaign gives participants a face through personal interviews. By surprising the interviewed participants with words of thanks from real patients during the filming, this campaign shows real emotional impact with unscripted emotions.
Thanks to an innovative targeting strategy, despite the challenges and strict limitations for Digital Marketing strategies in the health sector, this campaign reached the right target groups at the right times in a very targeted way.
Adwise - A Crucial Piece
Nominated for Best Global Internal Content Campaign. For the third year in a row, Emerce named Adwise as top-3 full-service agency of the Netherlands. This internal campaign dedicates this success to the each indispensable contributions of all Adwisers. Success that is literally made tangible with a puzzle as a metaphor. Each of our 140 Digital Brains received a personalized puzzle piece with a thank you letter, asking them to bring their piece to the office.
In addition, personalized digital visuals were created for employees to share on their social media, making them even more the face of Emerce success. The final result was not only a completed puzzle that now hangs in our headquarters as a reminder, but the campaign emphasizes that success is created through individual efforts, none of which is expendable.
Adwise & Heracles Almelo
Nominated for Best Integrated Content Campaign. After a season of relegation from the Eredivisie, Heracles Almelo faced both the challenge of forcing promotion and getting the stadium as full as possible even in the KeukenKampioenDivisie. Thanks in part to the use of innovative channels such as WhatsApp and Voice, the Almelo soccer club saw the number of season ticket holders rise to record levels and provided the ultimate example of fan engagement in the Dutch soccer world. An unprecedented success, right in a period of sporting defeats for the club. This case also previously fell in prizes at the Dutch Search Awards and the European Content Awards.
Adwise - The Digital Derby
Nominated for Best Internal Content Campaign. What started as a simple idea for a soccer match against fellow agency Traffic Today from Deventer, ended up going into the books as a spectacular Digital Derby under the lights of the Heracles Almelo stadium. A special story of collective success and where employee engagement was boosted in a unique way. From a teaser video that was viewed more than a hundred thousand times to the enthusiastic help of a partner like Heracles Almelo, the Digital Derby grew into a wonderful example of teamwork on and off the field. One of the absolute highlights of 2022 for Adwise and a now twice internationally awarded activation campaign.
Together with "A Crucial Piece," the Digital Derby is the only nominee in this category, guaranteeing Adwise wins gold with its own Employer Brand campaign.
The Global Content Awards, Adwise and WisePeople won a unique award. On the international stage of the GCA, the case creating a community of digital heroes was judged Best B2B Content Campaign of the Year. The fact that this is a sister collaboration within the company's own Group Wise Fundaments makes this award extra special. A great award for disruptive brand and content creation within the world of secondment and recruitment.
